These beautiful bits of purple shell wash up on the beaches here in Thirroul, NSW. The shell is actually a purple barnacle that gets broken down by the smashing waves along the reefs here. The colour is so rich and vibrant that I knew it would make a beautiful ring!
This shell was measured and wrapped in fine silver to create the setting and then created on a sterling silver band. The silver creates a tonal contrast to the purple and makes it pop even more.
